Give God Your Day

Lord, even now, as I've jumped into my day without a thought asking you to be its author, I stop. Lord, please, be the author of my day. Slow me down and show me what Your agenda is. Being busy and getting my work done is important, but do not let me forget or neglect Your will by becoming so engrossed in the "other stuff" of the day.

Lord, help me see the needs of others. Help me focus on You and all the glory each day brings. Show me where gratitude needs to be expressed and appreciated. Give me time with You and help me ensure I take the time given.

Let me show and share your love and kindness and let all my work today be as unto You. That I would bring glory to You by the quality and effort I put forth.

Lord, I pray that others would see You in me.
